Nate is the Co-Director and Founder of Samaritan Heritage Counseling, and a core faculty member with Northwestern University’s online Master of Arts in Counseling program, [email protected]. Nate is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of NH, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin (LPC), as well as a Board-certified National Certified Counselor (NCC). Nate holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counselor Education and Supervision, a Master of Arts in Counseling (MA) and a Master of Divinity (MDiv). Nate has counseled professionally since 2005. His experience involves a variety of clinical counseling settings including private practice, community practice, youth residential programs, in-patient mental health, police departments, crisis response, international counseling, and church ministries. Nate maintains a variety of roles for advancing the counseling profession, serves as a chaplain with a local police department, and serves in local church ministries.
